Wow! There always seems to be that first time.  Some nerves, a little apprehension and just a bit of anxiety.  Yikes!……But we couldn’t have asked for more amazing guests for our first!  A wonderful family from Scarsdale, NY.  It was mom, dad, grandpa, two young sons and a nephew. It felt just like when we were growing up here on Red Hill!  Lot’s of activity how ’bout a spirited chess match or some card playing…..even calculus????  Not to worry it still doesn’t make sense to me (and there won’t be a quiz later) but I’m trying!  Derivative math aside everyone still managed enough quiet time for relaxation and a good night’s sleep.  We hope to see you all again soon!

Hello!

What an adventure! Here we are! You found us! Actually, we were here all along but didn’t realize until about four years ago that we were here waiting for you! If you find yourself in need of a relaxing getaway or feel compelled to just get up and do something that feeds your soul, we’ve got what you’re looking for. We’ve recently remodeled our homestead strictly for the purpose of providing comfort to weary travelers, would-be interlopers or inspired dreamers and outdoor enthusiasts who just need a little time away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Come and stay a while…you’ll be glad you did.

We are planning a series of workshops for anyone interested in the coming months.  From woodcrafting to bee keeping to nature appreciation 101 to gluten-free cooking classes or  copper working.  What about cheese-making–how does that sound?  Not to worry, none of these goings on will interfere with your night’s sleep!  All workshops take place in, well, workshops!  Near by!  And it’s only for those few who are interested–because we’re very careful who we let have all the fun!

Dan…here at the Red Hill Guest House!
