Hello!

What an adventure! Here we are! You found us! Actually, we were here all along but didn’t realize until about four years ago that we were here waiting for you! If you find yourself in need of a relaxing getaway or feel compelled to just get up and do something that feeds your soul, we’ve got what you’re looking for. We’ve recently remodeled our homestead strictly for the purpose of providing comfort to weary travelers, would-be interlopers or inspired dreamers and outdoor enthusiasts who just need a little time away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Come and stay a while…you’ll be glad you did.

We are planning a series of workshops for anyone interested in the coming months.  From woodcrafting to bee keeping to nature appreciation 101 to gluten-free cooking classes or  copper working.  What about cheese-making–how does that sound?  Not to worry, none of these goings on will interfere with your night’s sleep!  All workshops take place in, well, workshops!  Near by!  And it’s only for those few who are interested–because we’re very careful who we let have all the fun!

Dan…here at the Red Hill Guest House!

Northeastern Pennsylvania’s excellent bicycle riding and training grounds are perfect for sightseeing and hardcore training opportunities.  Miles and miles of lightly traveled roads await you right from the Guest House’s front door.  We have ridden and trained on these roads for decades and will be happy to map out a route best suited for whatever you want to do.  After a long day of riding you can relax back on Red Hill and plan your next adventure. We’ll seeya soon!

Situated only 5 miles from the guesthouse is the beautiful 13000 Acre Ricketts Glen State Park.  It features some of Pennsylvania’s most beautiful waterfalls and outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, swimming and cross-country skiing in the winter.  We are sure it will be one of the places you’ll want to visit while staying on Red Hill.
